One Plus Defense and Training LLC was created to provide high-quality self-defense and safety products.
We are a highly driven customer-oriented organization with total satisfaction in mind. The suppliers, with whom we have built relationships, also have this goal in mind. That is why we offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on many of the products we market. As time progresses and our company continues to grow, we will constantly look for new and innovative ways to provide better products and services.
We also look forward to having a strong customer base with which we can share thoughts and ideas concerning our ever-changing communities. We understand the need to protect ourselves in these difficult times and we want everyone to be proactive, not reactive, when the need occurs.
We sell our products to both retail and wholesale customers. You may find us at a product show, gun & knife show, or just any type of event, where we can contact individuals and give them the opportunity to ask questions about our products, watch demonstrations, handle the products, or just sit and share a story.

Experienced Law Enforcement Professional Providing Trusted Firearms Training and Local Defense Solutions
Steve Julian, owner of One Plus Defense & Training LLC, brings nearly 25 years of hands-on law enforcement experience to the Southeast Missouri community. His extensive background includes serving as a Police Officer in Joplin, Missouri, a Fugitive Investigator with Missouri Probation and Parole, and a Criminal Investigator with the Missouri Department of Corrections. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration with a minor in Psychology from Drury University in Springfield, MO. As a certified NRA pistol instructor with thousands of hours of specialized training, he provides trusted expertise in firearm safety and defensive training.
Drawing from his career in law enforcement—and recognizing the rising concerns around personal safety—Steve founded One Plus Defense & Training LLC in 2011. The business began by offering non-lethal self-defense products and foundational firearm safety training. With growing demand and encouragement from fellow professionals, the company expanded to provide Missouri Concealed Carry (CCW) classes and eventually broadened its services to include affordable firearms for everyday citizens.
Today, One Plus Defense & Training LLC is recognized as one of Southeast Missouri’s leading gun shops and firearm & accessory stores. They offer a wide selection of firearms, optics, ammunition, and gun accessories, along with custom-built AR-15s tailored to individual needs. The team is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and reliable, knowledgeable support—ensuring customers feel confident returning time and time again.
